Alfred Gill is a visionary leader and seasoned executive with over three decades of experience in sustainable development, economic growth, and community empowerment.

As the Executive Director of Neighborhoods For A Sustainable Future (N4SF), Alfred has been instrumental in pioneering a new type of organization, classifying N4SF as a Sustainable Development Corporation.

This innovative approach is focused on creating momentum for the Sustainable Development Movement, driving forward initiatives that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and fostering economic and housing development, clean energy, green and healthy homes, and financial capability.

Under his leadership, N4SF has successfully developed over 300 housing units and community spaces, provided foreclosure prevention and homeownership counseling, and spearheaded sustainable development projects across Staten Island and Charlotte NC.

Alfred’s commitment to creating resilient and inclusive communities is evident through his work with Richmond Senior Services, Faith Initiatives Development Corporation, and Sustainable Together, where he has championed faith-based community development, senior housing, aging in place, and environmental justice. Part of his recent pioneering work includes developing ESG partnerships to advance sustainability in local communities.

Alfred is currently pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Development and Diplomacy from Euclid University and holds a Diploma in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) with distinction from the Corporate Governance Institute.

His extensive educational background also includes a Master of Science in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University and advanced studies in organizational theory and behavior from the University of the West Indies.

A recognized expert in his field, Alfred has facilitated numerous board and staff retreats, presented at international and national conferences, and consulted on sustainable development projects in the US, Caribbean, and Africa.

He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Consortium of Caribbean Professionals and the International Sustainability Council.

Additionally, Alfred serves on the Advisory Board of the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
