What incentives are available for green housing in Staten Island?

Home improvement assistance depends on the household, property and proposed work. Income-qualified residents can review NYSERDA’s EmPower+ eligibility guidance. Eligible owners of one- to four-family NYC homes can investigate HomeFix repair loans and their repayment terms.

Federal tax information has changed. The IRS states that the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit and Residential Clean Energy Credit are unavailable for new qualifying improvements or property placed in service after December 31, 2025. Confirm current requirements before including any incentive in a project budget.
